📺 Hataraku Maou-sama! his comeback with a fresh advance date
The second season aired during the Summer-2022 season (July-September) and had a total of twelve episodes. Wagahara and 029 published the original light novels through Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko imprint between February 2011 and August 2020, with a total of twenty-one volumes. A manga adaptation by Akio Hiiragi has been published since February 2012. Production team Daisuke Tsukushi (Isekai Cheat Magician, Girl Friend Note) is directing the series at Studio 3Hz. Tsukushi replaces Naoto Hosoda who took over the direction of the first season. Masahiro Yokotani ( Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai , Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu ) is writing and supervising the scripts. Yuudai Iino is in charge of the character designs. Iino replaces Atsushi Ikariya who worked in the first season. Ryosuke Nakanishi ( High School DxD , Kuroko no Basket , Monogatari Series: Second Season ) is composing the soundtrack. Hataraku Maou-sama!
